The life expectancy for Tay-Sachs and many other fatal genetic disorders is approximately 2 - 5 years.
Molly Grace made it to 6 1/2. We were so blessed to have her with us for so long.
This video was made by Rachaeli and Shui's mother in memory of all of
Rachaeli's friends who have succumbed to Tay-Sachs disease, Sandhoff
disease, GM-1, and all of our other "family" of illnesses. All of the
children in the slideshow, except for Rachaeli, Rachaeli's brothers, and
Molly's sisters, have passed away.
