Tay-Sachs disease is a genetic disease that is
diagnosed is diagnosed in babies. It occurs when a baby is born without
a special enzyme and hurts the child's sight, hearing, movement, and
mental development. Most children with Tay-Sachs don't live past the age
of 5.
